Apartment: A short walk to the Arc of Triomphe and the Champs Elysee, this quiet, cosy one bedroom apartment is situated on the first floor (one floor up) of a traditional Parisan building.

Amenities: include TV, VCR and Stereo. The VCR plays both French and American videos. There is a small video store down the street that does have some videos in English.

Appliances: A hair dryer,iron and board are provided.The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher below the electric oven, the stove features gas burners.A washing machine is located in the bathroom.

Umbrellas: There are two full size umbrellas in the apartment.

Directions: From Charles de Gaule airport you may take the Air France bus to Porte Maillot, then take a taxi for the short ride to the apartment. If you rent a car there is underground parking available by the day or week on the Avenue des Ternes.

Neighborhood: For good country bread go to Chez Paul on Rue Poncelet. For good Parisian baguettes go to the boulangerie on the corner. For pates, mixed salads, and cold cuts go to Pou on Avenue des Ternes. There is a good fish market on Rue Bayen. The post office (La Poste) is on the corner of Rue Bayen and Avenue Niel. Jean Louis David is a good place for a hair cut without an appointment, it is located on Rue Poncelet one and a half blocks to the left of Rue Saussier Leroy. There is a self serve laundry on Rue Fourcroy. For a small fortune you can take your clothes to be laundered at the cleaners. The best English newspaper is the International Herald Tribune, it is available at most newsstands. Everything is closed on Sunday afternoon and just about everything is closed on Monday, so be prepared.
